Quotes

A couple of my favorite quotes from my girls recently....

Me- "Arden, what did you learn at Bible Study today?"
Arden- "about Jesus." (no, really?)
Me- "What else?"
Arden- "Cookies are yummy and boogers are yucky."
TRUE.

Me- "Did you know that Aunt Sarah's last name is Vowell?"
Arden- laughing hysterically because that's so funny to her. "A,E,I,O,U, and sometimes Y!!!"

Halle- "I'm so sorry Daddy for not calling you when I got home. I just got so carried away with my homework."
uh-huh, sure.

Halle looking at my stomach- "Mommy, you're finally getting your six pack back."
She then proceeds to poke my abs, "Oh nevermind, it's just fat."

Awesome! I still remember the time Halle told you that you needed to wear makeup to the gym because no one wanted to see you without it.

9/3/13 In the Sonic drive-thru. Arden, "I want a burger and chicken nuggets." Me, "You can't have them together, you have to choose." Arden, "Ok, I have a good idea! I will eat the chicken nuggets first with ketchup. Then after that I'll have a burger!"
9/3/13 Halle, "I think I just swallowed a mosquito." Arden, "It's called a Skeeter!"
7/25/13 Halle said, "Thank you for all of my birthday gifts. But even if you would have given me just a penny I would have loved it because I know you love me."
8/1/13 out of the blue, Arden: "Mommy, I'm really really sorry!" Me: "For what?" Her: "For eating all of your chocolate chips..... But you can always buy more at the store, right?" Me:"Yes. Are you going to give me money to replace them?" Arden: "Sure!.... Mommy? Can I borrow some of your nickels and quarters?"
